Yoga. Travel. Connect.

As a dedicated traveler, experienced facilitator and yoga teacher, I’ve been curating global yoga retreats and immersive adventures since 2011. My work is driven by a deep appreciation for the human experience, finding beauty in both our shared connections and the unique cultural differences that enrich our world. I’m passionate about fostering heart-centered, culturally immersive experiences for curious travelers.

If this sounds like you, let’s go on an adventure together! Check out all upcoming trips HERE and scroll down for some pics of past adventures. My retreats introduce you to a place through its people, culture, history + food, and offer a side dish of yoga + other wellness offerings. The Mexico Retreat has the most yoga of all the trips, and in that sense is more like a classic yoga retreat.

I also teach weekly livestream yoga classes as well as occasional in-person classes when I’m in town. Find all class offerings HERE.

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” –Maya Angelou

To travel is to face our individual insignificance; to be humbled again and again by the beauty, goodness, and love that exists in the world. My heart keeps expanding to embrace it all. You probably know what I mean and like you, I want to meet all the people and see all the lands and do all the things. There is nothing like that feeling of wonder when you arrive for the first time in a new place. Where shall we go next?

Joyful with Kogis and canines in Colombia. The Kogis are one of the numerous indigenous tribes in Colombia. They believe in the sacredness of Mother Earth.

“I would say that there exist a thousand unbreakable links between each of us and everything else, and that our dignity and our chances are one. The farthest star and the mud at our feet are a family; and there is no decency or sense in honoring one thing, or a few things, and then closing the list. The pine tree, the leopard, the Platte River, and ourselves – we are at risk together, or we are on our way to a sustainable world together. We are each other’s destiny.”   - Mary Oliver

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”

About

Raised in a small NH town. Attended college in a slightly bigger NH town. Made my way to NYC, by way of San Diego, and have fallen in love with this noisy, boisterous, big-hearted metropolis.

I've waited tables, managed programs at an environmental organization, and ran logistics for a commodities brokerage firm.  Somehow, inexplicably or entirely understandably, that path led me to yoga and I've been teaching it since 2006, and leading retreats since 2011.

Currently teaching yoga in Hoboken, Jersey City and NYC, as well as in far off places that make my heart ache with joy and gratitude.

Trained at OM Yoga Center in NYC.

Forever thankful to my main teachers:  Genny Kapuler, Margi Young, the staff at now yoga in NYC, and the ups and downs of life.
